<br />
How do I feel about how my yr 10 maths has started?<br />
I feel that our year 10 maths has started really good because we all have been participating<br />
<br />
What work have I been learning and understand?<br />
I have been learning how to read scales, and I have been understanding that scale reading is not easy<br />
<br />
What work do I still need to improve on?<br />
I still need to improve on how to read a scale, I always get mucked up on the points.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342598433027034825.post-87211276136669158842018-11-27T09:54:00.001+13:002018-11-27T09:54:20.442+13:00Teaching videoIf your teachers did a teaching what would it look like?<br />

<span style="color: blue;">This week in our reading group we where doing inference. We had to get in a group of 2 and read the paragraph underneath then we had answer the questions we were gave.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;">Every day after work Paul took his muddy boots off on the steps of the front porch. Alice would have a fit if the boots made it so far as the welcome mat. He then took off his dusty overalls and threw them into a plastic garbage bag; Alice left a new garbage bag tied to the porch railing for him every morning. On his way in the house, he dropped the garbage bag off at the washing machine and went straight up the stairs to the shower as he was instructed. He would eat dinner with her after he was “presentable,” as Alice had often said.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: red;"> </span><span style="color: lime;">1. What type of job does Paul do? </span><br />
<span style="color: red;">The most appropriate answer was that he is a farmer</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: lime;"> 2. Describe Alice:</span><br />
<span style="color: red;">What in the text supports your description? : Alice she is a clean girl who keeps everything spotless</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: lime;"> 3. What relationship do Paul and Alice have?</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"> I think they are in a relationship

Firstly because you will have to continuously clean your bags and lunchboxes. Secondly we could ruin our lunchbox or bag. Finally some people can’t always afford extra bags or lunchboxes for their children.</span></span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: lime;"><br /></span></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: lime;">Firstly because it is annoying having to clean out your bag. Someone could have spilt fruit salad juice in it or a banana could have gotten squashed in your bag and you or your parents will be annoyed after three days of having to wash it. It could be a rainy day and your bag is drying on the line. But it is time for school and it is still wet. You will have to use a plastic bag or no bag at all. </span></span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: lime;"><br /></span></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: lime;">My second opinion why we should have rubbish bins is because we could ruin our lunch box or bag. After 3 hours of trying to wash out the disgusting smell of rotten banana out of your bag, you realise that it will be there forever. You could do the same thing to a drink bottle or lunchbox. No matter how hard you try to wash it off, the smell of rotten banana will waft up your nose every time you open your bag or lunchbox. Even if you just want a drink, you will taste banana every sip you take.</span></span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: lime;"><br /></span></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: lime;">My final reason is because some people can’t afford to buy another bag or lunchbox. Some people can’t even afford a bag for their rubbish. Some can’t buy lunch for their kids and some children without lunch have to go home with other people’s rubbish in their bag. Without a bag or a bag for rubbish, kids just leave their rubbish lying on the ground, or hide it in the couches in class or even in other people’s cubby holes.</span></span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: lime;"><br /></span></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: lime;">These are my three reasons why I strongly believe we should keep our rubbish bins in schools. Firstly because you will have to continuously clean your bags and lunchboxes. Secondly we could ruin our lunchbox or bag and finally because some people can’t always afford extra bags or lunchboxes for their children.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 24pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> </span></div>
